Auguste earned his BASc degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Waterloo in 2021. He is currently pursuing an MASc degree under the supervision of Professor Paul Fieguth. His main research is focused on detecting near misses from video of vehicular and pedestrian traffic; this project is in collaboration with Miovision. In addition, he is a collaborator on the Federated Learning for Robot Picking (FLAIROP) project, in which he works on inferring object relationships from images.
