As a PhD student at the Department of Systems Design Engineering, Azadeh Mohebi started her research with Professor Fieguth in the VIP lab on the statistical fusion of scientific images. Her research was specifically on fusing 2D high-resolution images and MRI low-resolution samples of porous media, using statistical models to generate artificial 2D images with higher resolution.

She is currently a lecturer and researcher at the Amirkabir University of Technology, Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology, and University of Economic Science.
