Dr. Dusseault will introduce issues related to energy in the earth in the form of sensible heat.  This is an astoundingly complex issue for the competitive exploitation of this energy in the form of electrical power and heat power. He will focus on the north and outline issues and possible valuable opportunities in research and development.  At this juncture, green energy sources seem critically important, and realistic pathways to development will be discussed.
