Philippe Maillard

I have an undergraduate degree in Physical Geography – Université de Montréal (1986), an M.Sc. in Geography – Université de Montreal (1990), and a PhD in Remote Sensing – University of Queensland (2001). I am currently an adjunct professor at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. I have strong experience in the geosciences with an emphasis on remote sensing.

My key research interests focus on remote sensing of vegetation in the tropics, digital mapping, image classification, image-based statistical models, and digital image processing for optical and radar imagery.
